Did you ever want to make your own Moon Sand?

Yes, I said "moon sand". <--click there and you will find the recipe on how to make it. I haven't tried it YET, but I will very soon. Last year I bought moon sand but couldn't afford to purchase the amount I needed. Instead of three bins I had enough for one. My kiddos nor I were very happy with that situation. This year I plan to make much more! If you have tried this, let me know how it went for you. I'd love to get some feed back on DIY projects!

A great website with products for all learners..

Heidi Songs has a great selection of cd's and dvd's that teach everything from letters & sounds to sight words & numbers. She uses visual/audio/ & physical movements to help children learn faster and keep it long term. It's so much fun the children will never get bored. Heidi also has a web site full of information for teachers. You can find the link on her website.

Another site with free printables..

Have Fun Teaching is a great site for free printables. Not only that but you can purchase the best teaching music for a great price. I believe I have just about everything for Pre-K & Kindergarten and my kids love it! They are original up beat songs that teach Character, Science, Math, Letters & Sounds + more. You can go to the website to listen to the songs before you purchase. If you check it out on facebook you could even run into some great savings.

Free Printables...

Sparklebox is a site I found online that has many free printables to use in your classroom. I found some awesome sports printables I am going to use for classroom and individual goals for my kiddos. My class theme is "Teamwork" using sports. I really love this idea and there are so many ways to incorporate it into the classroom.

New Beginnings..

A few years ago I attempted to blog about my happenings in the classroom with no success. I love to find and share ideas online so much that I decided to try again. I hope I can give to others as much as I have been given. Soon I will have links for my favorite teacher blogs and sites.
